On Sunday, June 5th, 1939, the Bracewells met for the third annual meeting at Mt. Pleasant Church.
The devotional was given by Uncle Elbert Bracewell, followed with prayer by Bro. Epperson.
Minutes of previous meeting were read and the roll called. Mr. Frank Bracewell was re-elected president and Mrs. Roy Hall Secretary-Treasurer. Clarice Peavy and Raymond Bracewell were added to program committee.
An interesting program was rendered by several of the Bracewell children.
The Family Tree was presented in a most clever manner by Reginald Bracewell. His interest and work in getting the needed information is deeply appreciated.
There were several volunteer talks by different ones present. We were saddened by the absence of Uncle Arthur Tuck from our circle.
As is natural for all trees, our tree has sprouted some new branches since last June. We heartily welcome them to our family. The new local additions which we know of are:
Peggy Irene Bracewell - Boss of the Red Bracewell family Bennie Ray Bracewell - Son of Mr. and Mrs Emmit Bracewell Mrs. Ardell Bracewell
Mrs. Searcy Bracewell, Jr.
Everett (Better known as Dick) Callender - married Clarice Peavy Bill Risky - married Ruth Dooley
A beautiful cake was baked and presented to the Bracewells by Mrs. Arnold Bracewell.
Motion made and carried that we adjourn for lunch.
