Reunion Minutes 1953
We me in regular session on the first Sunday in June of 1953. Meeting opened by president Hulon Hall asking Raymond Bracewell to lead song followed with prayer by Uncle Elbert. A cordial welcome was extended to all visitors. Minutes of previous meeting were read by secretary and they were approved as read. We were entertained with songs by Miss June Hardy accompanied by Sue Scarborough" Just a closer walk" and "A Wonderful Savior".
The additions to the Family Tree was given: Joe Shaffer married Dorotha Bracewell. Rebecca Sue Baldurn - born J?n 3, 1952. Gary Lynn Stephens, David Glen, Deborah Kay, Robert Earl Wagnet Jan 20, 1953 residing in England at the time of writing.
Announcement was made of Aunt Mollie and Uncle Franks Golden wedding anniversary.
Jessie and Ray Stone were present and made mention that they had ??? grand children that had never been officially reported and added to tree - Alton Leroy and Cynthia Irene Solberg.
Those on the sick list were remembered and the sec. was asked to write each one a letter letting them know how much we missed them. Ruby Dooley at Bryan, Uncle Hugh at Midway, ?aloy ? in Jefferson Davis Hospital, and little Frank at Sugar Land.
A committee was appointed by president to see about getting the Bracewell History published. The committee-men were: Gladys Hall, Stone Bedford, and Asbury Bracewell.
