Bracewell Descendants: Those of you who had the chance to attend last year's reunion will recall that we had a lively discussion about the future of the reunion. There is a general concern that interest in the event may wane if the younger family members do not play a more active role in the reunion. For the last few years, has been around fifty to sixty people counting small children. We discussed ways of improving attendance and making the event more interesting to younger family members wile preserving the Bracewell Tradition.
Two letters I have received since our last reunion and they will be the basis for a discussion on next years reunion plans. There are good points and bad points to be discussed and your input is welcomed and needed in order for our family reunion to remain a strong tradition. This year's reunion is set for Sunday, April 10, 1994 to be held at Mr. Pleasant, we hope the returning to Mr. Pleasant during the spring will attract more participation and offer more outdoor activities of the old days. This time of year is cooler and the spring flowers, especially blue bonnets, are at their peak. If you can not attend the reunion, please write to the address below so that we have as much input and possible.
The names of the 1994 Bracewell Reunion Planning Committee are listed below. If you would like to volunteer resources or help prepare for the event please contact on of us.
