For these many years, the descendents of Joseph Marion Bracewell have assembled for a meal and a short program. Joseph Marion Bracewell came to Texas and settled in the Bedias area. He and his family came in a covered wagon. His brother, family and other kinsmen settled in other parts of Texas.
Ron Perkins has devoted much time and effort to the Family Tree-following a lot of work and research by Joe Taylor, and before him, Reginald Bracewell. Many thanks to all of these. When we decided to resume our meetings at the old Mt. Pleasant Church, Vernon Tuck, Ken Farris, as well as Ron and others, donated much time in getting it in shape for our meetings. If you haven’t been before, I think you will thoroughly enjoy it.
Hope to see you there
