Dear Bracewell Kin,
Another year has raced by and it is again time for you to pack up a covered dish for lunch, any lawn chairs you have room to bring, and make your way to Mt. Pleasant Cemetery for our annual reunion and picnic. Bring any wholesome family things to do that you enjoy: horseshoes, washers, baseball, etc. This is your heritage! If you have never found occasion to attend the family reunion, I would particularly urge you to make the effort to attend. Our aim is to provide you with a family atmosphere picnic (during spring wildflower season) at the Bracewell family church and cemetery.
For those of you who have not attended in the last several years, the picnic site is located on the old Cotton Road--about 3 miles Northeast of Bedias off of FM 1696. The turnoffs will have signs that say **Bracewell Reunion**.
We are fortunate to have a concrete slab at the picnic site and would like to put a roof over it to make an open-air chapel. We will have a discussion as to how vest to raise the money for the roof.
Kenneth L. Farris
P.S. In case of rain or inclement weather, we will meet in the Bedias Civic Center. |
