BEDIAS — Services for Raymond Goree Bracewell, 87, of Bedias are set for 2 p.m. Sunday at the Bedias Baptist Church.
The Rev. Jerald Brown of the Bedias Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Bedias.
Mr. Bracewell died Friday.
| | He was born in Bedias and was a member of the Bedias Baptist Church since 1952. He was ordained a deacon in 1940 and was a past choir director for the church. He was past president of the Bedias Civic Club, was a board member of the Bedias Cemetery Association and was the owner of the Bedias Supply Co. for over 25 years. Survivors include his wife, Mary Harman Bracewell of Bedias; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Gene Bracewell of Bedias and Jerry and Pat Bracewell of Houston; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jimmy Massey of Needville; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives.
