Received your letter, 2nd, and I will try now to answer you. First no I have not heard from Nancy Ruff of Texas about the Bracewell’s.
I am sorry about the delay in writing but I get such a volume of mail every month that from Thanksgiving till the 1st of the year I take a vacation as I do have trouble with my hands and only answer urgent letters with a SASE.
My husband to goes back to Rev. Robert Bracewell and I have the family back in England to Edmund Bracewell in the 1500’s. This is Edmund Bracewell of Grantham Co., Lincoln who was a Sadler and died 27 March 1560. His wife was Alice and children Robert,John,Susan and George. It then goes to Robert of London England b 1553 married Jone. Robert died 23 Sep 1613. They had Nathaniel, Ann, Richard, Robert, Edward, and John. It then goes to Richard who died 13 Dec 1641 London England who was the father of Rev. Robert Bracewell.
