Dear Mr. Taylor.
Was glad to hear from you again. Had planned to be at the reunion in June but something came up. Some day I will get to come. We have some pictures of the first Bracewell reunion.
The Bible records are from the Bible belonging to William & Elizabeth Stephens Bracewell. The ones I copied came from the Bible of Eliza Bracewell Ward and are copied as written. My great grandmother was Nancy Ann Eliza, youngest daughter of Pappy & Mammy. By the way, have you ever seen their picture? I have them.
Did we have a Revolutionary ancestor on the Bracewell line? I have been invited to join the SAR but have no one to go in on except a line I don’t acknowledge.
Am enclosing some pictures you might like. They have been cluttering our house all these years. Let them be in your way for a while.
I think the Ann and Mathew were husband and wife and moved to Stonefort, Ill after the war. Florence was Aunt Lizzie Bracewell Pilcher’s daughter.
We are working on a Walker County history book and I am on the committee for that.
