Dear Joe,
I was about half through with a letter to you when the package arrived today with the Reunion copies. You cannot imagine how thrilled I was, and my family, to find the wealth of information contained in the papers. We passed them around at lunch and instead of the usual conversation we read.
I have been checking over the information you sent and trying to fit in what I have and in some cases I have information that will be useful to you, I think. In other cases the information I send may only confuse the matter. But at any rate that is the fun part of this whole search is unraveling the puzzle.
First of all I am enclosing a copy of an article that appeared in the Atlanta Constitution in 1979 on the Bracewell name. I have checked the Isle of Wight County records and have found the following information:

Page 571 Richard Braswell, s/o Robert Braswell, by gift 16 Jan 1660, gave 400 acres and wife. My wife Sarah sold Thomas Green 200 acres and I (Richard) now sell him 100 acres more 9 Oct. 1674

The name Braswell is used in some cases and Bracewell in others. Gets confusing. In looking over the Family History Documents you sent, the Unknown Ancestor listed may be Robert Bracewell (Braswell) sometimes referred to as Parson Bracewell, mentioned in
