Dear Joe,
Charles Heath has suggested a major change in what I sent to you recently on the Bracewell family. He pointed out to old dummy me that Clerk means clergy and that Robert (Parson) and Robert (Clerk) were one and the same and not two people as I had. I have reworked the first two pages of the information and am enclosing the new pages. Also change Robert III on page 3 to Robert II (Jr.). I am still compiling information and will try to send it to you as I finish it.
I am also enclosing information taken from the Gwinnett County History on James Bracewell. You may already have this because it is very similar to what you sent to me several months ago. There is however some information not in what you sent.
What do you think of my reasoning that follows?
One of the notes on the information that you sent seemed to indicate some confusion about the William B. Bracewell. It appears from the History account that W.B. Bracewell was the son of James and not the brother of James. This account was apparently given by son William B. Also the daughters who married the Harris', Huff, Nackin, and Matthews appear to be children of James and not William.
I may be completely off-base here since I am not real familiar with the people involved but see what you think and let me know.
I am also sending this material to Charles to get his opinion. Will keep in touch.
Yours truly,
(signed) Ronald
