WHEREAS, on the 1st. day of May, 1941, the Great Architect of the Universe called to rest from her earthly labors Mrs. Sarah Verbena Hines, wife of U. C. Hines.
WHEREAS, Mrs. Hines was born near Bedias, Grimes County, Texas July 14th. 1884, the daughter of James H. H. Ward and Nancy Eliza Bracewell Ward.
WHEREAS, Mrs. Hines leaves surviving her, her husband, two children, several brothers and one sister.
WHEREAS, Mrs. Hines was a devoted and loving mother and wife, and lived a life within her church and for the purpose of bringing sunshine into the hearts of her family, friends and relatives, therefore, be it,
RESOLVED that the Members of the Bracewell Reunion now in session express our deepest sorrow and regrets on the passing of this beloved member of our Reunion, and be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be spread upon the minutes of this reunion this 1st. day of June, 1941.
