MARY SYPHRETT BRACEWELL
WHEREAS, on the 27th. day of December, A. D. 1943, our creator called to rest Mary Syphrett Bracewell of Huntsville, Texas, and,
WHEREAS, Mrs. Bracewell was born in Ozark, Alabama, and came to Texas when one year old, and for the past twenty seven years has lived in Walker County, Texas. In 1895 she was married to Benjjamin S. Bracewell at Bedias, Texas, and to this union nine children were born, six of which are surviving her, namely; one daughter, Mrs. Loraine Leonard of Huntsville, Texas, and five sons, Clyde Edwin Bracewell of Memphis, Tennessee, Gerald Milton Bracewell of New Orleans La, Jesse Mercer Bracewell of Runnermede, New Jersey, Benjamin J. Bracewell of Houston, Texas, and Eugene F. Bracewell of Huntsville, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, who died several years ago.
WHEREAS, deceased was a devoted Christian, a kind and loving wife and mother, a life long member of the Methodist church, and through her quiet daily living brought sunshine and happiness into the hearts of her family, friends, and relatives, and.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Members of the Bracewell Reunion now in session express our deepest sorrow and regret on this the passing of this beloved and honored member, and be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be spread upon the minutes of this Reunion this 4th. day of June, A. D. 1944.
