MEMORIAL---BENJAMIN FRANKLIN BRACEWELL
WHEREAS, in the passing of Benjamin Franklin Bracewell from this earthly life on the 13th day of April, 1954, at the age of 45 years, the people of Sugarland, Texas, and particularly the members of the Bracewell Reunion, have suffered irreparable loss, and
WHEREAS, every one who knew him mourn the passing of this good and
unselfish educator and civic leader, and
WHEREAS, Frank, as we all knew him was a former president of the Bracewell Reunion, a Sunday School Teacher, Deacon in the Baptist Church at Sugarland, a teacher in the public schools, a former member of the Sugarland School Board; and devoted much of his time and energy to the promotion of public service and education; and will be greatly missed by those who knew him, and more particularly by the members of the Bracewell Reunion, where he was a regular attender; and
WHEREAS, Frank is survived by his widow, Susie Fraser Bracewell, two daughters, Misses Nona Sue and Judith Bracewell of Sugarland, five brothers, J. S. Bracewell Sr. of Houston, Reginald and C. E. Bracewell of Huntsville, John and E. W. Bracewell of Austin, and two sisters, Bertha Bracewell Grawl of Tyler and Ruth Bracewell White of Houston; now therefore be it
RESOLVED by the BRACEWELL REUNION that it express its sincere sympathy to the family, and forward to Mrs. Susie Fraser Bracewell, a copy of this resolution at Sugarland, Texas.
Unanimously adopted by a rising vote of the Bracewell Reunion June 6th, 1954.
