MEMORIAL - THOMAS W. HART
WHEREAS, the citizens of Bedias, and the community of Mt. Pleasant has lost one of their most beloved citizens and friend. In the passing of Thomas W. Hart on April 3, 1963.
WHEREAS, Mr. Hart was a son of Dr. H. C. Hart and Sallie Magee and was married to Rebecca Swanner Sept. 22, 1907 to which marriage were born the following children: Erma Hart Barnett, Marion and Morris Hart. His wife remains to morn his passing, and
WHEREAS, Brother Hart, as he was known by many of us, was Christian of the highest type, and a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Bro. Hart joined the Methodist Church at an early age, but became a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church of Madison County in 1930. He moved his membership to the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in 1934. He was very active in the church for many years as choir director during the time of Bro. Hugh Bracewell's pastorship. He conducted song services for revivals here many years. Bro Hart remained a member of this church until his death this year, April 3, 1963. And
WHEREAS, Bro. Hart will be truly missed all of us, his lovable manner, his interest in life, his interest in the community will forever remain as a reminder that death is the grim reaper that shall come to us all. We, the Bracewell Reunion,will remember him as one its best supporters and friend. Now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the Bracewell Reunion that we extend our warmest sympathy to his family, and ask that a copy of this resolution become a part of the minutes of this meeting, and that a copy be sent to his wife and the children.
