MEMORIAL- ELBERT LEE BRACEWELL
WHEREAS on April 10, 1962, the Great Reaper claimed by death, our beloved kinsman, Elbert Lee Bracewell. For many years Uncle Elbert, as he was affectionally known to most of us, was , for many years, a member of Mt. Pleasant Church and has, through the years been one of our faithful attenders at this Reunion and his presence here is greatly missed by all of us, and
WHEREAS, Uncle Elbert was a son of Joseph M. and Martha E. Bracewell and was married to Alice Woods, June 10, 1909. To this marriage was born two daughters, namely: Eglan Binford and Dorothy Ford, and
WHEREAS,Uncle Elbert, at the time of his death, was a resident of New Waverly, Texas, and a devout worker in the New Waverly Baptist Church. He has a host of friends who reside there and mourn his passing, and
WHEREAS, Uncle Elbert will be greatly missed by all of us in attendance at this Reunion, but his love, affection and devotion to this Reunion will be always cherished, and remembered, therefore be it
RESOLVED by the BRACEWELL REUNION that we extend our deepest sympathy to the family and direct that a copy of this Resolution be sent to his surviving wife, Mrs. Alice Bracewell, and to each of the children, above named, and that the Original be copied into the permanent minutes of this REUNION.
