IN MEMORY OF ROY HALL
Born April 5, 1894 he entered into rest February 17, 1969. He married his beloved Effie Bracewell on April 21, 1912. She preceded him in death in 1946. Both were born and lived all their lives in Bedias. Both passed away at home which they loved so well.
Though gentle in nature Roy Hall was strong in character and in his convictions. He was a man of almost boundless energy who was accustomed to working every day from daybreak until dark, but he was never to tired to answer any call for help from his fellow man in need. He dealt with the public for almost all of his adult life and in so doing was asked for many favors. If he ever refused any reasonable request from anyone it was not known to his family.
Roy Hall was one of those rare individuals who gave without asking or expecting anything in return. He never sat in judgement nor offered harsh words of criticism regardless of the facts or circumstances, because he never lost faith in his fellow human beings.
The greatest legacy a man can leave his children is the heritage which Roy Hall's sons feel so keenly when they hear it said so many, many times "Son, your Daddy was a mighty good man."
It was resolved that we extent our sympathy to the family and that a copy be put in the permanent records of the reunion on this June 15, 1969.
