GEORGE STEPHENS
George Stephens was born August 11, 1903. He married Mona Bracewell on June 28, 1925, and his children are Janell Stephens, Joyce McQueen, and Elvin Stephens. George was a man with many friends. He at varying times was a ginner, a merchant, both in Iola and Bedias, a peace officer and an employee of the Department of Corrections. George was a Deacon at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, and a devoted Christian.
WHEREAS, George Stephens died August 16, 1969, be it resolved that this Reunion record his passing and send a copy of this Resolution, along with an expression of our sorrow, to his wife and family.
