One day, Two deaths. Joseph Marion and Stephen Barns |

Our cousin David Ward discovered the death certificate for Joseph Marionand Stephen Barns. Interestingly both died on the same day. Joseph Marion was sick with an auto-infection and Stephen and wife Artimacy Bracewell were visiting from Marlin, Texas when Stephen fell and injured himself.
Stephens injuries must have been severe because he died 15 days later at 1am in the morning. Later that same day at 8:30pm Joseph Marion died. Artimacy Bracewell lost her husband and brother in the same day.
Joseph Marion is buried at Mount Pleasant Cemetery just outside Cotton and Stephen Barns is buried at McAdams Cemetery west of Crabbs Prairie one plot from his infant daughter who died a few years prior.
