Three Syphrett girls married three Bracewell boys. The boys were the sons of James Newton and Bracewell and Emily Eliza (Jackson) Bracewell of Bedias, Grimes County, TX. James Newton Bracewell (1820- ) was the son of William Bracewell (1801 GA – abt. 1897 AL). He married Elizabeth Stephens (1800 GA – 1862 AL) on January 24, 1819 in Laurens County, GA. When Elizabeth died, he married Charity Scarborough.

Winder Crouch Bracewell was born Aug. 21, 1865 (Grimes County?) and died June 28, 1940, (Galveston County?), TX. He married Lovie Syphrett (1870 AL-1937 TX) daughter of Silas and Nancy Jane (Fussell) Syphrett at Old Waverly, TX, May 26, 1887. He was a Methodist minister. They are both buried at Seabrook, TX. Their children were:
1. Mickel Lee Bracewell, b. July 6, 1891, Georgetown, TX, died Feb. 12, 1957. Marr. Lela SPEED born about 1900, d. Oct. 22, 1969. They are buried at Restland Memorial Park, Dallas, TX.

3. William "Bill" Clyde Bracewell, b. Jan. 14, 1899, Lyons, TX, died Oct. 25, 1982, Seabrook, TX. Marr. Rena LENHART on Apr. 16, 1922, at Waller, TX., She was born Mar. 31, 1897, Akron, Nebraska and died 1982, Seabrook.

Joseph Jackson Bracewell was born July 17, 1868, (Grimes County?) and died Oct. 29, 1946. On June 1, 1890 he married Sarah “Sallie” Clyde Syphrett (1872 AL – 1916 TX). They are both buried at Old City Cemetery, Liberty, TX.

Benjamin Stephenson Bracewell was born May 22, 1873, Rapides Parish, LA, and died Aug. 18, 1922 TX. June 26, 1895, he married Mary Ann “Mollie” Syphrett (1874 AL – 1943 TX). The couple is buried at McAdams Cemetery, Huntsville, TX. Their children are: 1. Clyde Edwin Bracewell, b. August 7, 1896, Bedias, TX. He died Dec. 6, 1978.
